Nurse Gail is a woman of many talents and loves to bake in her spare time.

Her mouth-watering cake creations are the talk of the care home, so when she promised something special for Easter, expectations were high.

True to form, Gail served up a batch of delicious cupcakes good enough for Paul Hollywood’s gingham altar.

Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coach Morag said the Residents loved tucking into the tempting treats.

Morag said: “Gail’s talent for baking is a blessing for our tastebuds and a curse for our waistlines!

“The Easter cupcakes were absolutely scrumptious and the perfect way to mark the celebrations.

“She’s good enough to be on the Bake Off – but we’re happy to keep her to ourselves!”

This Easter, Gail’s cupcakes weren’t the only sweet treat on the menu.

Thanks to kind donations from local supermarkets Morrisons and Tesco, every resident got their own Easter egg.

Chef also served up a traditional roast lamb lunch which everyone agreed was splendid.

Morag said: “We did some Easter arts and crafts, and the residents made their own Easter hats, which they wore.

“It was a lovely, joyful weekend of celebration and just the spring tonic we all needed.”
