We’re proud to host the first dedicated Dementia Hub of its kind in Rushcliffe - a welcoming, one-stop space where you can access advice, information and support around dementia and caring, all in one place.

First Thursday of every month
11am - 1pm

Delivered in collaboration with The Alzheimer’s Society, The Carers Hub and local Social Prescribers, the hub brings together experienced professionals who can offer guidance, reassurance and practical support.

Whether you’re supporting a partner, family member, friend or neighbour - or simply looking for advice - you’ll be warmly welcomed. It’s a friendly, relaxed space to talk, connect and learn what help is available.

The hub is free to attend, and you can also book in advance for a complimentary lunch (jacket potato with a choice of fillings).

Get ready for an afternoon of live music, family fun and fantastic entertainment at EdFest!

Saturday 5th September
2pm – 4pm
Edwalton Manor

- Four amazing live bands
- Open Mic entries on the day
- Face painting & gigantic bubbles
- Children’s games and activities from Little Wickets
- Fun stalls to browse
- Nachos, jacket potatoes & more

Adults: £5 | Children: FREE
Your ticket includes all entertainment and food.

Bring along a blanket or bean bags, get comfortable and enjoy a brilliant afternoon with family and friends!

Best of all, all proceeds will be donated to The Rotary Club Memory Café and Cancer Research, helping support two fantastic causes.

Join us at Edwalton Manor Care Home this Alzheimer’s Awareness Month for a special Cakes & Canvas event in support of the wonderful Rushcliffe Dementia Action Network (RDAN).

Come along for a relaxed, dementia-friendly painting session where you’ll create your very own beautiful paint-by-numbers canvas to take home, while enjoying tea, delicious cakes and great company.

Sunday 20th September
Choose from three sessions:
• 9am – 10:30am
• 11am – 12:30pm
• 2pm – 3:30pm

Suggested donation: £5 per person

All proceeds will be donated to RDAN, helping to support people living with dementia and their families across the local community.

Places are limited, so be sure to book your preferred session in advance, contact our friendly team.

A trip down memory lane for Edwalton Manor residents

Residents at Edwalton Manor Care Home in Nottinghamshire took a step back in time when they recently visited The Flintham Museum. 

The museum, a much-loved part of the local community, was once a village shop that served residents for more than 150 years. The last shopkeeper to live there was Muriel White. Her neighbour, Susan Clayton, has preserved the shop as a museum in her memory.

The kind-hearted team invited the group from Footprints Conducive Education Centre into their friendly home for a full day of treats, including hair makeovers, nail pampering, and massages.
