Residents at Elstow Manor were delighted to welcome members of Oakley Motorbike Club to the home on Saturday morning for a special visit that sparked plenty of conversation and fond memories.
Eight riders stopped by as part of their weekly ride, bringing along an impressive selection of motorbikes for residents to admire. The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for residents to get up close to the bikes, chat with the riders and enjoy refreshments together.
The morning quickly became a trip down memory lane, with residents reminiscing about motorcycles they had owned or ridden in years gone by, memorable journeys they had taken and stories from their younger days. One particular talking point was a dog that regularly rides on the back of one of the motorbikes, which delighted residents and generated plenty of smiles and discussion.
The visit was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the local community, share stories and enjoy something a little different. Residents thoroughly enjoyed meeting the riders and learning more about their passion for motorcycling.
