Paws For Thought For Chawley Residents When Bentley Stopped By

There were cheers of joy when big-hearted Bentley, the cuddly hound decided to drop in and visit residents at Chawley Grove Care Home.

Adorable Bentley, who is a pet therapy dog, thrilled the Cumnor Hill residents when he visited the home this month with his owner Anna Brown, pictured.

Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coach Megan Wilson said: “Bentley just loves people, and everyone always seems to fall in love with him.

“Bentley has a great way of allowing people to be themselves and share their emotions. He makes people laugh too. We all hope he visits us again soon.

“We were all amazed by how calm he was with everyone about; he is certainly a gentle giant.”

It is a known fact that pets can help provide important motivation to complete daily activities as well as help to alleviate depression, produce a calming effect as well as slightly reducing blood pressure and heart rate.
