Residents from Hindhead Place Care Home in Haslemere recently enjoyed a morning outing to Squires Garden Centre, spending time browsing the plants, exploring the displays and sharing plenty of laughter along the way.
During the visit, residents took their time looking at the garden furniture before choosing a selection of colourful flowers to plant in the home’s cutting beds. The group also enjoyed discovering scented flowers, soaps and some humorous garden signs that sparked plenty of conversation.
The outing continued with singing and laughter on the coach journey, with residents praising driver Glen from Myley Coaches for helping make the trip especially enjoyable.
Trips like these form part of life at Hindhead Place, giving residents opportunities to get out into the local community, share experiences together and enjoy simple moments of fun.
The flowers chosen during the visit will now be planted in the home’s garden, where residents will be able to enjoy them throughout the coming months.
