Thames Wood House, our new luxury care home on School Hill in Wargrave, is inviting local residents to help choose a name for its community bistro.
Set to become a welcoming hub at the heart of the home, the bistro will provide a relaxed space where residents can enjoy refreshments and spend time with family, friends and members of the local community.
The team is looking for a name that celebrates Wargrave, drawing inspiration from the village’s heritage, local landmarks or unique community character.
Diana Nica, Home Manager at Thames Wood House, said: “We are incredibly excited to become part of the Wargrave community and to offer high-quality care within a truly wonderful home.
“We have recruited an exceptional team who share our commitment to delivering compassionate, personalised care, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone through our doors.”
Thames Wood House will provide residential, nursing, dementia and short-term respite care, while creating approximately 100 new jobs in the local area.
The person behind the winning suggestion will also be invited to cut the ribbon at the home’s official opening later this year.
