Easter Petting Farm Brings Joy to Lovell Place Care Home Community

Easter Petting Farm Brings Joy to Lovell Place Care Home Community

Lovell Place Care Home was delighted to host a truly special Easter celebration as part of its community events programme, welcoming over 125 visitors to enjoy a fun-filled morning together.

Residents, staff, families, friends, and members of the local community all came together to experience the joy of a visiting petting farm. Guests had the chance to meet a wonderful selection of animals, including fluffy lambs, friendly rabbits, alpacas, and a much-loved mini pony. The event brought smiles all round, with residents especially enjoying the opportunity to get up close to the animals and share in the excitement of the day.

Alongside the animal encounters, the morning featured Easter crafts, a lively Easter egg hunt, and a raffle, creating a full programme of activities for all ages to enjoy. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, conversation, and a strong sense of community spirit.

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of everyone involved, the event also helped raise valuable funds for Face2Face Parkinson’s, a local charity providing vital support to individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Twinnies Petting Farm for helping to make the day so memorable, and to everyone who attended and contributed to its success.

It was a fantastic example of community coming together at Lovell Place Care Home, creating lasting memories, supporting a meaningful cause, and celebrating the joy of Easter.
