A small but very special visitor recently arrived at Upton Manor Care Home in Poole, when a four-day-old lamb from Em’s Friendly Farm paid a visit to the home.
Residents gathered to meet the tiny lamb, who was still waiting to be given a name, and quickly became the centre of attention as people enjoyed the chance to see and gently stroke the newest arrival.
The lamb was joined by two sheep from the farm, who brought a little playful chaos with them as they explored the home and happily accepted plenty of attention from residents.
The visit created lots of “aww” moments throughout the afternoon, with residents enjoying the chance to spend time with the animals and share a few laughs together.
The team at Upton Manor thanked Em from Em’s Friendly Farm for bringing the animals to the home and helping create such a memorable afternoon.
Animal visits like these are always warmly received, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy something a little different while spending time together.
