Care Home Manager

Rubina Arunagiri

Care Home Manager

Rubina is the Home Manager at Cambridge Grove, bringing extensive clinical and leadership experience from a long career in the care sector. A registered General Nurse originally trained in India, she began her nursing career in 1997 as a Renal Specialist Nurse before moving to England in 2001.

Since then, Rubina has built her career within the private care sector, progressing into senior leadership roles and managing services supporting people with complex care needs. She holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management and is known for her calm, person-centred approach, with a strong focus on dignity, safety and open communication with families.

Alongside her role as Home Manager, Rubina is passionate about mentoring and enjoys supporting nursing students from Anglia Ruskin University as they develop confidence and skills in practice.

Amy Milburn

Home Ambassador

Amy is the Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care Home, bringing enthusiasm and a passion for creating a vibrant and fulfilling environment for residents. Originally trained as a teacher, Amy spent many years working in schools before transitioning to the care sector in 2020 as a Lifestyle Coordinator. She thrives on ensuring residents enjoy a happy and engaging experience, from making new friends to rediscovering old hobbies and exploring new interests.

"Throughout my career, I have supported many families in transitioning their loved ones into our care home, providing empathy and guidance every step of the way. I take pride in being a trusted source of comfort during this important life transition, ensuring residents and their families feel welcomed and secure.

I also enjoy meeting new people and hearing the incredible stories our residents share—there’s always so much to learn from them!"
