A staff appreciation breakfast recently brought the team together at Richmond Manor Care Home, with a small gesture of thanks organised for everyone working across the home.
The morning began with breakfast baps, yoghurt, granola and fresh fruit, giving team members the chance to pause for a moment and enjoy breakfast together before the day ahead.
Each member of staff also received a gift bag which included a thank you card from Hamberley Care Homes CEO Paul Hill, recognising the care, effort and commitment shown by the team.
Many of those pictured were Homemakers, the team members who support residents throughout daily life in the home. From helping with meals and activities to spending time chatting and offering support, they play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The Homemakers who attended the breakfast said they were delighted with both the meal and the thoughtful gifts.
Home Manager Fiona Smith said it was important to take time to recognise the contribution made by everyone across the home.
The breakfast was a simple way to say thank you and acknowledge the work the team does every day to support residents and help the home feel comfortable and welcoming.
