As part of our Easter preparations, Elstow Manor Care Home hosted a delightful flower arranging workshop led by our talented team members, Josette and Annie. Residents had the opportunity to design their very own Easter flower baskets, bringing a splash of spring into their rooms.
Maria Hindle, our Wellbeing Coach, said, “It was a fantastic afternoon of flower arranging, seeing residents’ creativity flourish and completing some truly beautiful Easter basket displays for their rooms.”
Residents loved getting hands-on with the flowers:
Ada Feiven (97) shared, “I really like flowers and enjoyed making my flower display. I have many flowers in my room and on my patio too.”
Anne Poole (91) added, “It was a joy for all of us to sit together and create such beautiful flower baskets.”
The afternoon was full of laughter, creativity, and a real sense of togetherness, a wonderful way to welcome the Easter season at Elstow Manor.
Images from the workshop captured Anne Poole crafting her basket and Annie with residents John Skevington (89) and Ada Feiven (97), proudly showing off their floral creations.
