It was a truly unforgettable St Patrick’s Day at Dorking Manor Care Home, as residents and team members came together for a day full of fun, music and plenty of Irish cheer.
The home was filled with laughter and “shenanigans galore” as everyone embraced the spirit of the day. Guests enjoyed traditional refreshments, with the Guinness flowing, adding to the authentic Celtic atmosphere.
We were delighted to welcome Margaret, who treated everyone to a beautiful musical performance with her two harps. Her wonderful selection of pieces created a magical setting, with residents relaxing, listening and soaking up the celebration.
Adding to the occasion, James and the talented kitchen team prepared a delicious traditional Irish lunch, followed by a fantastic themed cake that was enjoyed by all. The food, music and lively atmosphere made it a day to remember.
It was wonderful to see everyone fully embrace the celebrations, sharing smiles, laughter and special moments together. A brilliant day was had by all - to be sure, a St Patrick’s Day to remember!
