A Colourful Afternoon of Flower Arranging at Brookwater House

A Colourful Afternoon of Flower Arranging at Brookwater House

A room full of fresh flowers, colour and conversation set the scene for a relaxed afternoon of flower arranging at Brookwater House Care Home in Palmers Green.

Using a selection of seasonal blooms including roses, dahlias, tulips and peonies, residents spent time creating their own unique arrangements. Many enjoyed choosing their favourite flowers and experimenting with different colours and styles.

The activity quickly turned into a sociable afternoon, with plenty of chatting, shared tips and admiration for each other’s creations as the displays began to take shape.

Members of the team also joined in the fun, with both the Home Manager and the chef taking part and helping to add a few finishing touches to some of the arrangements.

By the end of the session the room was filled with colourful displays, each one reflecting the creativity and personality of the residents who made them.

Creative activities like flower arranging are always popular in the home, offering a relaxed way for people to spend time together and enjoy something hands-on.
