Cofton Park Manor Donates Supermarket Christmas Gift Cards to Support Local Families

Cofton Park Manor Care Home has donated supermarket Christmas gift cards to help support families in the local community during the festive period.

The ten gift cards were given to Allens Cross Community Centre, enabling families facing financial pressure to purchase essential groceries and enjoy a Christmas dinner together.

Allens Cross Community Centre provides support, advice and outreach services for families experiencing rising living costs, offering practical help at times when it is most needed.

Jackie Careless, Centre Manager at Allens Cross Community Centre, said:

“We are absolutely blown away by the generosity shown by everyone at Cofton Park Manor. These gift cards will make a real difference to the families we support.”

Wendy Sibley, Community Relations Manager at Cofton Park Manor, added:

“It’s incredibly important to us to give something back to the community we’re part of. Many of our residents and team members have strong local connections, and we wanted to support families who may be finding things particularly difficult at this time of year.”

The gift cards will be distributed directly to families identified by the community centre as being most in need, helping to ease pressure during the Christmas period.

Community involvement and meaningful local partnerships form an important part of life at Cofton Park Manor Care Home, reflecting its commitment to compassion, connection and social responsibility beyond the home itself.
