Residents and team members at Cofton Park Manor Care Home have come together in support of the local community by donating a generous harvest collection to food banks across the area.
The luxury care home in Cofton Hackett shared its Harvest Festival donations with food bank programmes run by Holy Trinity Church in Lickey, St Catherine’s Church in Blackwell, and St Stephen’s Church in Rednal.
Wendy Sibley, Community Relations Lead at Cofton Park Manor, said:
“We’re so pleased with the generosity of the donations and delighted that the supplies will help vulnerable families, especially as we head into the colder winter months.
And what a lot of food we received!”
Wendy delivered the donations alongside Gail Bessent, the home’s Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coach.
The local churches expressed heartfelt thanks for the support.
Rev Colin Corke of Holy Trinity Church said:
“I’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who contributed, it will make a real difference.”
Jo Griffin, a long-serving member of the team at St Stephen’s Church, added:
“We are so grateful for these donations - thank you from all of us.”
The initiative is part of Cofton Park Manor’s ongoing commitment to building strong community relationships and supporting local causes.
