Residents and staff at Chawley Grove Care Home in Oxford have raised £100 for Positively Pink Oxford, a local breast cancer charity, through a creative and inclusive community event.
The luxury care home hosted a pumpkin flower arranging workshop, inviting members of the community to join residents for an uplifting afternoon of creativity. The session was led by Steve Wheeler from Flowers Designed By Steve, who guided attendees in crafting stunning seasonal arrangements.
Danielle Hudson, Wellbeing Lead at Chawley Grove, said:
“It was lovely to see people enjoying the workshop and being so positive about raising money for such a valuable cause.
We’re delighted to continue supporting Positively Pink Oxford, a charity that makes a real difference during difficult times.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the fundraising.”
Chawley Grove’s support for Positively Pink Oxford is part of the home’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and championing causes close to residents' hearts.
