Mum came into Upton Manor after having carers coming into her home for a year after losing her husband. It took a year for Mum to decide to come into a home after falls and loneliness. She has settled very well, she is no longer lonely and enjoys being with people all the time. The facilities are fabulous, the care is top class and Mum is happy. We no longer have to worry about Mum being alone in her house.

My sister-in-law came to Upton Manor Care Home for respite care following a hospital stay. The home has done far more in the short time than anywhere else she has been. The level of care was the best I have known in any home and I have visited quite a few over the years. This has been the happiest I have seen her in years. I feel that my sister-in-law has been able to be herself and be appreciated for who she is.

I feel that the home has opened her eyes to what a care home can be like.The facilities at the home were a very high standard and I was very happy with the ambiance of the home.
It was a very positive experience for me as a visitor and I was very impressed with what is on offer. I have done twenty-seven cruises and the room my sister-in-law had was of a very high standard.
The food is fantastic. There are lots of opportunities to continue with your hobbies and the staff encourage the residents to open up and continue with their lives and to begin to live again.

My parents stayed at Upton Manor Care Home for respite care. The staff were caring, empathetic and willing to go the extra mile to make my parents feel welcome and supported. The family was always welcomed there. The food was excellent and I was very impressed with how clean the care home was. My parents had a couple of medical issues that were dealt with promptly and professionally. Overall I have nothing but praise for Upton Manor.
