Home Ambassador

Megan Templeton

Home Ambassador

Megan brings a strong foundation in customer service and community engagement to her role at Milngavie Manor. Her career began nearly 20 years ago with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, where she developed exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting people. She later broadened her experience across the utilities and telecom sectors, most notably as Community Engagement Manager for a nationwide Openreach contract. In this role, Megan was the central point of contact for residents, clients and community partners, developing a calm, empathetic approach to navigating sensitive and often emotionally charged conversations.

Guided by an interest in holistic wellbeing, Megan recently completed an Anatomy and Physiology for Massage Therapy course, further deepening her understanding of therapeutic support. While new to the care sector, she brings outstanding emotional intelligence, a steady, reassuring presence, and extensive client-facing experience, qualities that make her a valuable addition to the team.

Outside of work, Megan lives in Glasgow with her soon-to-be husband, Paul, and their cat, Anya. She loves catching up with friends over brunch, spoiling her niece and nephew, and exploring new places. She is steadily working her way through a list of dream destinations, with favourites so far including Japan, Mexico and New York City.

"As Home Ambassador at Hamberley, I have the privilege of being a trusted point of contact for families during one of the most important decisions they’ll ever make. What excites me most about this role is how it blends my professional experience in communication and community engagement with my personal passion for caring for others. I love being able to offer genuine support and reassurance to local families, helping them feel confident and comfortable as they choose the right home for their loved one."
