Residents learned the art of creating frothy coffee and the trick of shaking the cinnamon just right.

Residents Tim and Kath both enjoyed seconds and said: “The drinks were so tasty and made me feel so cosy and autumnal, and the taste and smell of the pumpkin spice brings back so many happy memories from around this time of the year.”

Regional Community Relations Lead Richard Hollands said, “It’s always good to learn something new - especially when it tastes so good!

“The cream on top really added to the drink and made us all smile with delight. Everyone had a great morning of learning new skills and tasting great coffees like pumpkin spice, gingerbread and caramel, all topped with squirty cream and cinnamon.”

Caffè latte is an Italian espresso drink made with steamed milk.  It is usually one-third espresso and two-thirds steamed milk, topped with a layer of foam.

And although its name is Italian, the caffè latte is an American invention.
