Jeanne Vella-Eyre, Commissioning Manager
As the Hamberley family grows, Jeanne plays an integral role in the opening of new homes, working with team members, residents and families alike, to ensure everyone enjoys an outstanding care experience.
Jeanne has 37 Years of clinical experience as a Registered General Nurse, predominantly within elderly care, in both acute and rehab settings.
Having first commissioned a nursing home in the late 1980s, Jeanne has held a variety of roles including Senior Staff Nurse, Senior Ward Sister, Hospital Matron, Deputy Home Manager, Home Manager to name but a few.
Jeanne has worked in both the public and private sector, holding positions as Operations Director in both a healthcare company and also in commercial enterprises.
She was a Managing Director and Consultant in a HealthCare business, and held a Marketing Director’s Role within a multimedia Company in the early 1990s.
