Join us for a fantastic week of activities, entertainment and community events during Care Home Open Week. Whether you’re looking for care, planning ahead, visiting someone at the home or simply part of the local community, everyone is welcome.
Care Home Open Week is a lovely opportunity to visit Verwood House, meet the team and enjoy a week of wellbeing, community activities, themed events and friendly celebrations. Please contact our friendly team to find out more or to RSVP.

Monday 15th June

Enjoy a fun-filled World Cup-themed balloon modelling session packed with creativity and laughter.
Tuesday 16th June
A holistic day focused on wellbeing, relaxation and connection, led by Sandra from Cozy Corner.
10am
Massage and aromatherapy session.
11:30am
Mindfulness, relaxation and connection session.
2:30pm
Sound therapy with sound bowls and gong bath.
Wednesday 17th June
9am
Join us for a relaxed networking brunch.
3pm - 5pm
Enjoy an Around the World quiz afternoon with residents, families and visitors.
Thursday 18th June
12pm
Celebrate International Picnic Day with local schools, nurseries, residents, relatives and the community. Enjoy food and flavours from around the world, with staff and residents sharing dishes from their own cultures. Everyone is welcome to bring along their own picnic too.
Friday 19th June
10am - 4pm
Explore our beautiful home, meet the team, enjoy tours and access dementia drop-in support throughout the day. No appointment necessary.
